Bhopal: Due to snowfall in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir of North India, a cold wave is expected to start in Madhya Pradesh from Tuesday. It is being said that the temperature can come down to 4 degrees below normal. Meteorologist PK Saha has said about this, 'Strong waves are coming from the north.' Due to this, the night temperature has come below normal across the state on Sunday. It is being said that this strong wave is continuously coming.
Now, a cold wave can start in the state from December 29. Its effect will be seen in western Madhya Pradesh from tomorrow itself, but in eastern Madhya Pradesh, it will affect 30 and 31. However, due to the cold wave, the night of 31 December can be cold. Meteorologists say that its effect may last from 2 to 3 January. It is also being said that due to the continuous cold wave, the temperature can fall more than 4 degrees in many places. At the same time, if the temperature falls more than 4 degrees, it is called a cold wave, while the mercury falls below 6.5 degrees, then it is called Seawear cold wave.
So far the possibility is of cold wave and according to scientist Saha, if the snowfall continues continuously and similarly the strong wave keeps coming, then there can be a cold cold wave. Along with Bhopal, nighttime mercury has fallen by more than 3 degrees in Dhar, Guna, Indore, Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam and Shajapur, while nighttime mercury has fallen below normal in Rewa, Sagar and Seoni in eastern Madhya Pradesh. In the rest of eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhindwara, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Mandla, Narsinghgarh, Naugaon, Satna, Sidhi, Tikamgarh and Umaria have recorded night temperatures above 4 degrees.
