Ujjain: Bajrang Dal leader Raku Chaudhary was shot dead by Tarun Sharma. The incident happened at 1 pm on Wednesday. After the murder, there was uproar in the whole city. Bajrang Dal workers raised slogans. Demolition also took place at some places. Police has arrested Tarun Sharma, the culprit of the murder case.
According to the information received, Raku Chaudhary was sitting in his office in front of Mahidpur Road Geetashree Garden on Wednesday afternoon. Due to this the attacker came and shot Chaudhary. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared Chaudhary brought dead. Within no time the news of the massacre spread throughout the city. Many traders even closed their shops.
The police is investigating on many points regarding the same murder case. Raku Chaudhary also used to do property related work. Apart from this, two years ago there was also a witness in a knife case. Nagda Junction comes under the count of sensitive city. A few years ago, Bherulal Tank, a big leader of the Hindutva organization, was also shot here. However, the stitches survived. At that time also there was a situation of tension in the city. In view of the murder of Raku Chaudhary and the subsequent tension in the city, the police have deployed force at many places.
