Uttarakhand-Badrinath: The revered Badrinath Temple was embellished with a vibrant display of 15 quintals of marigold flowers in the early hours of Saturday.

The portals of this sacred shrine, one of the nation's holiest, are scheduled to close for the winter season later today.

Devotees who made their way to Badrinath Dham to offer prayers on Saturday were captivated by the ornate decorations and enthusiastically captured photographs of the temple adorned with the radiant marigold flowers.

An official announcement from the Badrinath Dham Temple Committee affirmed, "The portals of Shri Badrinath Dham will be sealed for winter at 3:33 pm today."
The spectacle at Badrinath Dham during Diwali night was a sight to behold, boasting exquisite embellishments in honor of the Festival of Lights.
Deepavali was joyously commemorated with grandeur and passion within the temple precincts.

Pilgrims from across the country and abroad converged upon Badrinath Dham to partake in Diwali celebrations. They patiently lined up for hours, eagerly waiting for a 'darshan' of the deity.
Following the traditional 'aarti' ceremony at the temple, devotees fully engaged themselves in the festivities of Deepostav.
