Mirzapur: Preparations are going on for the Bhoomi Pujan to be held on 5 August in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, Soil from major religious places of the entire country has been brought for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. On Thursday, Ganges water has been sent to Ayodhya and also water from Maa Vindhyavasini's temple was sent. For this, worship and rituals have also been done in the premises. In addition to the dignitaries and priests, devotees were also present during the program.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad worshipped the soil and water brought from Maa Vindhyavasini temple which will be used in the Bhoomi Pujan on August 5. Along with this, other holy places of Mirzapur, Maa Kali Khoh, Maa Ashtabhuja, Maa Shitala Temple in Vijaypur, Yagya Sthal of Bhagwa Mata, Chhoti Mata, Devnath, Daksha Prajapati, Ganesh Temple, Rampur and many places were worshipped.
The function was presided over by District President Ramachandra Shukla, and the convener of the ceremony was Dinanath Mishra, the city president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. They said "I urge Ram devotee, cow devotee, Ganga devotee that the time we have been waiting for many years is near, the same day we all will lit a lamp in our homes. On this special day, preparations are being made not only in Ayodhya but also in the whole country, everyone is very excited about this historic Bhoomi Pujan.
