Visakhapatnam: An aviation academy plane crashed in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. A trainee pilot lost his life in the accident. The pilot's name is said to be Mahima, who was a resident of Tamil Nadu. The incident took place in Nalgonda in Andhra Pradesh. The plane took off from Macherla in Gunjur district of Tamil Nadu. It is being told that the plane hit an electric pole while taking off. After which it crashed into the field. Local police and administration officials have reached the spot after being informed about the incident.
Earlier, on May 6, 2021, amid the corona epidemic, the State Plane of the Madhya Pradesh government was coming from Ahmedabad to Gwalior with Remdesivir injection. While landing at Gwalior airport, the plane crashed and had to make a crash landing. Captain Saeed Majid Akhtar and his fellow pilot Shivshankar Jaiswal, who was flying the plane, had sustained minor injuries in the accident. While the plane had become completely junk.
The Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh had claimed that the state government suffered a loss of Rs 85 crore due to the plane crash. The charge sheet was handed over to Captain Majid Akhtar on behalf of the state government. It said that due to the accident, the aircraft was converted into scrap at a cost of Rs 60 crore. Due to this, the state government had to hire planes from other private operators. For this, 25 crore rupees were spent by the government.
