Jaipur: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another accused from Rajasthan in the Popular Front of India (PFI) case, which is working on the mission of making India an Islamic nation by 2047. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Sohail. It is being told that the accused was actively involved in the criminal conspiracy of PFI to disturb the peace and spread communal hatred.
The NIA arrested the accused Mohammad Sohail on Friday (February 10). NIA caught the accused from Savina of Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is alleged that Sohail conspired with PFI members to radicalize Muslim youth for violent and illegal activities. Let us inform you that earlier the NIA had arrested two accused Sadiq Saraf and accused Mohammad Asif in this case. An FIR was registered against him on 19 September 2022 at the NIA Headquarters in New Delhi. With this arrest, the total number of arrests, in this case, has increased to three.
Let us tell you that last month, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 9 places in Rajasthan in a case related to conspiracy to promote hatred between different religious groups and to carry out terrorist activities by the banned PFI organization. An official of the investigating agency had informed that searches were conducted at 4-4 places in Rajasthan's Jaipur and Kota and one place in Sawai Madhopur district, in which digital devices (mobile phones, SIM cards), sharp-edged knives, and objectionable material were seized.
