Andhra Pradesh will establish Mobile Tribunals to resolve land disputes. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has directed officials to begin the process, settle past web land issues in a transparent way, and finalise protocols (SOPs) in this regard.
Land records should be prepared in such a way that they cannot be changed or tampered with. Physical and electronic records should both be prepared, the minister said.
Jagan attended a review meeting for the YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku – Bhu Raksha initiative and inspected drones meant to conduct a detailed land survey utilising modern technologies. The chief minister said during a meeting on Thursday at the camp office in Tadepalli that physical records should be updated on a regular basis and that the survey should be conducted as soon as the applications are received.
The CM stated that the system should be free of corruption. The corrupt should be dealt with harshly, and registrations should be completed at village/ward secretariats. Mobile Tribunals would assist in resolving conflicts on the ground. By the time the landowners receive proper title deeds, he continued, there should be no disputes. Officials should include the Department of Justice in the process and provide a roadmap.
The chief minister was informed that by April 5, 51 advanced drones would be operating for the land survey. To speed up the procedure, another 20 drones are being ordered. For the land survey, a total of 154 drones will be employed.
