Visakhapatnam: A shocking incident has come to light from East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh. Here a woman gave a contract of 1 lakh 30 thousand rupees to kill her son, who has now been arrested by the police. The case is from Bikkavol in the district, where the man survived the attack. Sub-Inspector Bujji Babu of Bikkalvo police station said that a woman named Kanaka Durga, a resident of Karapa Mandal of Kakinada district, had hired a contract killer to kill her own son Veera Venkat Shiv Prasad. Shiv Prasad, who is married and a driver by profession lives with his mother. He lived separately from her wife after a dispute with her. According to media reports, he is an alcoholic and used to beat up his mother under the influence of alcohol. Upset with her son, the mother finally decided to kill him and gave a contract to the killers. The mother had assigned the task to her relative, Yedikondolu, who carried out the attack on Shiv Prasad, but he managed to escape, the report said. Later, he spoke to a contract killer and a man named Veera Venkat Satyanarayana who demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for this work.

According to media reports, Kanaka Durga decided to give him Rs 1.30 lakh. Later Satyanarayana and Bolem Vamsikrishna together hatched a plan and decided to take Shiva Prasad out of Bikkavol to kill him. They hit Prasad with an iron rod and assumed that he was dead, but when a railway employee saw him fighting for life and death, he was immediately admitted to the hospital. However, his mother has confessed to the crime.
