MUMBAI:  Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Their wedding will follow grand pre-wedding festivities and a mass wedding for underprivileged couples.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will celebrate their wedding on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. The announcement of their wedding was first made in May when news agency ANI shared their wedding invitation.

Mass Wedding for Underprivileged Couples
On July 2, the Ambani family hosted a ‘Samuh Vivah’ for over 50 underprivileged couples from Palghar. Each bride received gold jewelry, including Mangalsutra, wedding rings, and nose rings, as well as silver toe rings and anklets. The brides were also given a cheque of Rs. 1.01 lakh as 'streedhan,' symbolizing their personal assets. Additionally, each couple received a year's supply of essential groceries, household items, appliances, and bedding.

Wedding Schedule
July 12: The main wedding ceremony, known as Shubh Vivah, will take place. Guests are encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire.
July 13: The Shubh Aashirwad, or blessing ceremony, will be held with a dress code of Indian formal attire.
July 14: The Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, will conclude the festivities with a theme of Indian chic attire.
Celebrity Performances

The pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar featured performances by Rihanna and Akon, while the cruise party included acts by the Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Andrea Bocelli. According to recent reports, Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey are expected to perform at the Mumbai wedding, with negotiations currently underway to confirm their participation.
