Aligarh: An accident took place at Somna railway station in Aligarh district which shocked everyone. In fact, today i.e. Friday morning, this big accident created a stir. According to the information received here, an iron rod pierced through the neck of a passenger sitting in the general coach of the Nilanchal Express train (12876). Everyone was shocked to see this painful sight on platform number 3 of the station. In fact, a major accident took place on platform number 3 of Somna railway station when an iron rod pierced through the neck of a passenger traveling on seat number 15 of the general coach. Due to this, he died on the spot.
In this case, it is being told that the deceased passenger has been identified as Harikesh Dubey, a resident of Sultanpur. As soon as the information about this matter was received, the top officials of the railway including RPF and CRPF reached the spot and started getting information about the incident. On the other hand, the body of the deceased has been taken into possession and sent for postmortem. In this case, RPF CO KP Singh says, 'Nilanchal Express arrived on platform number 3 of Aligarh station at around 9:30 am on Friday morning. Information was received that a passenger has been injured in the next general coach.'
Further, he told- 'On this information, all the railway employees along with RPF and GRP reached there. Thereafter, it was observed that a road had entered from the left side of a passenger on seat number 15 in the second coach, which had passed through the right side. He died on the spot in the accident. GRP removed the dead body and sent it for postmortem. Now the Railway Police is collecting further information regarding this incident. Till now it is not known when and where this incident took place. However, sources confirmed that track-laying work is being done by the Railways in that area.
