At Sulaiman Hall in Aligarh Muslim University Campus,a SWcond year student got injured amid celebratory firing after the India-Pakistan World T20 Cricket match on Saturday night, the boy belongs to Azamgarh.

Surya Kant Dwivedi (Station House Officer, Civil Lines Police Station) said, the whole incident happened when some of the university students fired in the air after  India’s victory and a bullet hit Kaleem Ahmed on his head.Kaleem was rushed to the hospital where doctors referred him to the AIMMS(All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi, where he is recently undergoing treatment.

Ansul Gupta (Superintedent of Police, Aligar) said, “they are waiting for a complaint from AMU’s administration to register an FIR in this case
