The protesters also vandalized the school and started pelting stones in anger. As a result, the police had to clear the railway track. At 1 pm, the protesters again came on the railway track, which worsened the situation.

The protesters created a ruckus at Badalpur station. To control the situation, the police resorted to lathicharge and dispersed the protesters. During this, the protesters also pelted stones at the police. Railway services were restored 10 hours after the police removed the protesters.

Manoj Patil, DCP GRP, Central Railway, said that the situation has now become normal and train movement is going on normally. He said that no section has been imposed at present. Internet services have been closed for a few days to control rumors.
