Shahjahanpur: Ganga Expressway is said to be the longest expressway of Uttar Pradesh, whose foundation stone has been laid by PM Modi today. Let us tell you that its length will be 594 kilometers. With this, Ganga Expressway will pass through 12 districts of UP from Meerut to Prayagraj. This expressway will connect the eastern and western regions of UP. Let us tell you that this expressway will start from Bijauli village of Meerut on Meerut-Bulandshahr road (NH-334) and will end near Judapur Dandu village on Prayagraj Bypass (NH-19). Today, after laying the foundation stone of Ganga Express, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, 'This expressway will open new doors of progress in UP'.
With this, PM Modi said, 'Mother Ganga is the source of all progress, all progress. Maa Ganga gives all the happiness, and takes away all the pain. Similarly, Ganga Expressway will also open new doors of progress for UP. Now the day is not far when UP will be recognized as the next generation state in the world. Let us tell you that today i.e. on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of 594 km long Ganga Expressway to be built at a cost of Rs 36,200 crore in Shahjahanpur.
The construction of this expressway will cost more than Rs 36,200 crore. The expressway will also have a 3.5 km runway to assist in emergency take-off and landing of Air Force aircraft. According to reports, this expressway will pass through 12 districts of Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj. With this, this expressway will be of 6 lanes, which can be increased to 8 lanes later. According to the information received, about 94 percent of the land for this expressway has been acquired so far and the rest work is still in progress.
