Noida: The countdown to the demolition of Supertech's twin towers in Noida's Sector-93 has begun. The twin towers will be demolished on Sunday, August 28, at around 2.30 pm. About 3,700 kg of explosives has been planted to demolish this huge building. Before the twin towers were demolished, the residents of the super tech emerald and ATS Village Society near it are breathing up and down. There are 2 residential towers of Super Tech Emerald whose distance from the twin towers is about 10 meters. The twin tower is to be demolished right next to the Super Emerald Society of 93A sector of Noida. All of them have to leave the flat at 7 am on the 28th.

Why are Supertech twin towers being demolished?

The Supreme Court had found in its investigation that Supertech had violated the construction conditions while constructing these towers. The construction of this twin tower started in 2009. A total of more than 950 flats were to be built in these two towers. However, many buyers alleged that the plan of the building had been changed and in 2012, they moved to the Allahabad High Court. According to the data, 633 people had booked flats in it. Of these, 248 persons took refunds and about 133 buyers were given houses in other projects. But among all the buyers, there are 252 people who have neither taken a refund nor have they been shifted to any other project, meaning their investment remained in this project. In 2014, the Allahabad High Court declared the twin towers illegal and ordered their demolition. He had also lashed out at the Noida Authority. The matter went to the Supreme Court. At first, the Supreme Court had stayed the order of the Allahabad High Court, but later the Supreme Court also ordered its demolition.

An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude will be felt due to the collapse of the tower, will this earthquake not shake the surrounding upright buildings? Who will bear the loss of honest residents? Thousands of families and thousands of vehicles will be displaced, the already broken back of the environment will be torn to pieces by a cloud of dust and smoke, Is it fair to do all this? After all, what is the logic of the almighty Supreme Court of such destruction? That is why it is necessary that the patriotic advocates of the Supreme Court come forward and get it stopped by filing a writ petition against it at the earliest.
