Dehradun: Patwari Vaibhav Pratap has been dismissed over the Ankita murder case. Collector Pauri has issued orders for this. It is being said that on September 19, Ankita's father informed Vaibhav Pratap about his daughter's disappearance over the phone. But Vaibhav went on a 4-day leave as soon as the news of the disappearance was received. Vaibhav had given charge to Patwari Vivek Kumar before going on leave. Vaibhav had also switched off the mobile as soon as he went on leave. The administration was also unable to contact him. The area comes under revenue police. Therefore, the first information was given to Patwari Vaibhav Pratap.

Later, another Patwari wrote a complaint. Four days later, when the case was transferred to the regular police, the whole matter was opened. It came to light that there was a friendship between Patwari and criminal Pulkit Arya. Vaibhav was supposed to come to Vanantra resort in advance. About a month ago, Patwari Vaibhav Pratap was transferred to Kandakhal. Tehsildar Manjit Singh Gill said patwari Vaibhav was stopped on verbal orders in view of the disaster period. It is being said that Vaibhav did not even treat Ankita's father properly.
Questions were being raised on the role of Patwari from the beginning in the same incident. People were constantly demanding the removal of Patwari from the government and also investigating Patwari in this whole matter. Collector Dr Vijay Jogdande has handed over the investigation of the validity of Vanantra Resort to ADM Pauri. At the same time, an inquiry committee has also been formed. Forest and revenue department employees are involved in this. Also, the collector has sought a report in 15 days. Regarding the action on the resort, the collector said, "The action has been taken at the tehsil level. It was reported later. Police told them that no evidence was affected. All the necessary evidence was collected.''
