Yep, there's a new restaurant at the Ganges-side boutique hotel Holywater, called Var. All the 'bhog' from across the country is served in a shining brass plate in this restaurant. 

This restaurant orders cuisine from all the holy places in India. Some of the dishes offered here are actually served in the temple kitchen and offered as bhog to the 'deities'. When you are in the restaurant, you must start your meal with Achanam, a ritual that involves purification of the hands. After this you will also be given Panchamrit, a sacred nectar consisting of milk, ghee, honey, Ganges water and Tulsi. This is a very unique and traditional restaurant. Wherein, the restaurant will offer four distinct thalis to be offered under the watchful eyes of Chef Deepak Bhatt.

You can also try Arbi Gutke, Char Dham Bhog, Alu Wadi Golden Temple's Langar in Amritsar, Vaishno Devi's Chane, Brajbhoomi's Khichdi and Mathura's Peda. The restaurant serves delicious dishes, seasoned with spices. This thali has 22 items to satisfy your soul.

The restaurant also serves dishes of Paruppu Soorakkai Kootu from Badrinath Temple, Jagannath Temple at Puri and Meenakshi Temple at Madurai. But you have to dine at this restaurant for at least five days to see all the variety of cuisines they have to offer. Don't forget to try the signature drink, the Dhuana, which is smoky buttermilk. What's more, the restaurant boasts electric interiors that make for stunning Instagram photos.
