Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a building in the Kandivali area of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, creating an outcry among the people. However, no news of loss of life has come to light so far. It is feared that the cause of the fire could be a short circuit. At present, the fire brigade is present at the spot and continuous efforts are being made to control the fire.
Reports say that the incident took place at Pavan Dham Veena Santoor Building in Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West. According to media reports, the flames are limited to the first floor of the 8-storey building. As soon as the information was received, teams of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation i.e. BMC, MFB, and police immediately reached the spot.
Five people are feared injured in the accident that occurred around 12:30 p.m. It is reported that the fire in the building has now been brought under control and the power supply has also been completely stopped. At present, the fire brigade is also carrying out the cooling operation.
