Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, a youth hanged himself after alcohol in a room in Sadarpur colony in Eta district late on Tuesday night. Police have recovered a suicide note, two mobiles and a laptop from the youth's room. In the suicide note, the young man has written about his relationship with his girlfriend. Police have seized the body and sent it to the hospital for postmortem.
Mohit, a resident of Etah, lived in a rented room in Street No.3 in Sadarpur Colony. He is MBA graduate and was working in the company. The Sadarpur outpost in-charge said that on the information of the landlord on Wednesday morning, the police broke open the door of Mohit's room and entered. Mohit's body was hanging from the fan there. A laptop, two mobiles and suicide note were found in the room. In the suicide note, the young man has written about self-immolation due to his relationship with his girlfriend.
Police questioned the neighbours and found that the youth had been drinking daily for the past few days. The youth had reached the room drunk on Tuesday night as well. Inspector-in-charge of Sector-39 police station Azad Singh Tomar said that the family members of the youth have been informed. The items found in the room have been seized for examination.
