Jaipur: The case of rape of a minor girl has come to light from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is being told that the accused had taken the minor on the pretext of getting him to work in his house. The police has arrested the accused. DCP East Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav said that a 58-year-old man living in Umaid Heritage has been arrested for raping a 15-year-old minor. Who is a contractor in MES. The victim told the police that she did not remember the day of the incident.

But according to the police investigation, this incident could happen in September or October of 2021 last year. The victim told the police that when she told her mother about this, the mother told her to keep quiet. The investigation also revealed that the victim's mother had borrowed a few thousand rupees from the accused contractor. The mother and daughter have been in touch with the contractor for more than a year. The accused used to frequently molest the minor. But the mother used to tell him only to keep quiet. When the minor was raped, the accused took her to another house in his car.

The police is also probing the role of the victim's mother in this case. The victim said in her statement before the magistrate that she had told her mother about it, but she refused. It is feared that the mother may also have a role in the rape case. The minor was also stopped by his mother from coming out. After which she ran away from home on February 7 and the family members filed a missing report. The victim reached Surat in Gujarat with her sister. There she told her sister about the contractor's handiwork, then she took him to the police. Surat police informed Jodhpur police. After which the police arrested him after investigation, the police is investigating this matter deeply.
