Muzaffarnagar, a 8-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped and murdered at a paper mill owned by a BSP MLA.
According to police, "she had been raped before being strangulated to death yesterday in the mill at Jansath road, where she worked as a labourer".
An investigation is underway in this matter and the body has been sent for the postmortem.
Police is searching for a labour contractor, Khurshid, who has been escaped since the incident.
