38-year-old headmaster booked for allegedly molesting a Dalit woman.A primary school headmaster has been accused of allegedly assaulting a Dalit woman in Hathi Karonda village in Shamli district, police said on Thursday.According to a complaint filed by the Dalit woman's husband on the occurance done by the 38-year-old headmaster booked for allegedly molesting Dalit woman.she was alone at home on Tuesday when the 38-year-old headmaster barged into their house. He alleged that the accused tore her clothes and also threatened her.

Babri police station SHO Ravindra Gautam said the accused has been absconding since the incident and search operation to catch him is on.He was detained on the charges of molesting Dalit woman Wednesday under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the SC/ST Act.

In a separate incident of eve-teasing, the man was caught and beaten up by the locals before handing him to police. A 22-year-old woman was allegedly eve teased by a man on Wednesday at her home in New Mandi area, police said on Thursday.According to the dalit woman , the man had troubled her earlier too. The police have taken him into custody.
