Agartala: On Wednesday, 329 more patients were found infected with coronavirus in Tripura, taking the number of patients in the state to 9,542. While 4 more deaths due to coronavirus have brought the death toll to 83. A health department official has given this information. After the arrival of new corona cases, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the state has increased to 2,866, while 6,574 people have been cured of this infection so far. 

So far 2,51,660 samples have been investigated for corona infection in Tripura. Officials further informed that on Tuesday, a total of 160 infected people were discharged from the Agartala Government Medical College Hospital (AGMC) after recovering from the disease. He said that the Council of Ministers reviewed the corona situation in the state and stressed on better management of the pandemic by increasing the number of tests and construction of better infrastructure in hospitals.

CM Biplab Kumar Deb has instructed the officers of the Corona Core Committee of the state to increase the investigation and appealed people to cooperate with the government in the fight against the pandemic. Corona cases in the country have crossed the 33 lakh mark. On Thursday, the biggest jump in the cases of Coronavirus has been reported. On Thursday, 75,760 new cases were reported. But the matter of relief is that the number of people recovering from Corona has exceeded 25 lakh and the investigation has increased.
