Jodhpur:  The death toll in a cylinder blast case in Bhungra village under the Shergarh area of Rajasthan's Jodhpur district has risen to 22. Four more people lost their lives on Tuesday morning. The groom's father is also among those who died. Earlier on Monday night, the groom's mother died. Most of the dead include women and children. About 60 people, including the groom, suffered burn injuries due to a cylinder blast. As soon as this news reached the bride's house, the wedding happiness turned into mourning.

According to the report, the marriage procession was scheduled to leave from Bhungra in Shergarh and come to Khokhsar in Barmer at 4 pm on Thursday. At around 3.30 pm, the bride's brother Hem Singh called and asked if the procession left or not. When he called, a child picked up the phone and there was a sound of crying from all sides on the phone. Talking to someone else, it was known that the gas cylinder blast had caused an accident in the groom's house and many people suffered burn injuries, and are being taken to the hospital for treatment. Hearing all this, Hem Singh got shocked. The bride's brother Hem Singh said that preparations were being made for rituals in the house.

Mandap was also decorated there. The women were singing wedding songs. Meanwhile, this information about the accident left everyone shocked. The bride's father Vijay Singh is a heart patient, so the news of the accident was kept hidden from him. So far 22 people have lost their lives in this accident, while many people are still said to be in critical condition.  

How the accident happened:-

Surendra Singh, son of Sagat Singh Gogadev, a resident of Bhungara in Shergarh, was scheduled to get married on Thursday. During this time, a gas cylinder suddenly exploded. After this, the second cylinder exploded. Two other cylinders also caught fire. On the spot, Shergarh police constable Dungar Singh pulled out two burning cylinders. During this, the hand of the policeman was also burnt. The cylinder exploded and the entire ceremony caught fire. This caused a stampede on the spot. The people present there were engulfed in flames.
