Aligarh: In Uttar Pradesh, the death toll due to domestic liquor contract in Aligarh continues on Saturday. Due to this, a total of 22 died. The administration says that all the warts have not only been caused by consumption of alcohol but also have other reasons. Three persons have been booked in the case. In addition, 6 persons have also been arrested.
Mandla Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that a total of 22 deaths have been registered in various 3 police station areas of Aligarh due to consumption of liquor. He said that some deaths may be due to other reasons, not all have died due to drinking alcohol. The investigation is underway. Senior Superintendent of Police k PRO Krishna Kumar Singh said that so far police have registered three cases and arrested six persons including anil chaudhary, an accused in the liquor smuggling racket. Two main accused are still absconding on whom a reward of 50,000 rupees on each has been announced. On the other hand, the government has suspended district excise officer Dhiraj Sharma, excise inspector Rajesh Yadav, principal constable Ashok Kumar, inspector Chandraprakash Yadav and sepoy Ramraj Rana on charges of negligence.

Most of them were from Aligarh while a large number of truck drivers had come to hp bottling plant to collect gas cylinders. While 17 people lost their lives on Friday, five people died this morning. The death toll has now risen to 22. This number may still increase. The condition of many people admitted in the district hospital is still critical.
