Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava says that "20 rural roads of the state have been included in the main district roads on the demand of local public representatives and residents". He has informed that the Public Works Department will now take responsibility for the construction and maintenance of these roads. Indeed, recently he has said that 'Under the main points of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh, the development of strong infrastructure is the priority of the state government.' According to the information received by the Public Works Department on the demand of local public representatives, six rural roads of Gwalior division, three roads of Sheopur district in Morena division, seven roads of Ujjain division, two roads of Betul district in Bhopal division, and Hoshangabad and Balaghat district. One rural road of each will now be converted into main district roads.
Along with this, Gopal Bhargava has also said that 'Upgraded as the main district road, these roads will be better maintained by the Public Works Department'. According to him, CRIF can also provide financial help for the construction and maintenance of all these, which will be very easy. According to reports, Dadakhirak to Tighara route under Gwalior enclosure, Gupteshwar temple from Golpahadia to Moti lake route, Jorasi-Antri-Araya-Kachhauna-Badki Sarai-Chhimak road, Khureri-Bijoli-Gundhara-Jignia-Guhisar road, Simaria Tekri to Haripur Tiraha route, Makoda to Tekanpur.
At the same time, Datar to Jaini Marg, Bajrali-Makdavada, Kalapatta, Baroda Masavani to Pahela Marg have been converted into District Main Road in Sheopur District. In the same way, Berakhedi Ghugwasa to Bortalai road in Hoshangabad zone, Dogramali to Dhoti under Balaghat district of Jabalpur zone, Jharda to Gogopur via Kacharia Sagwali Tarnaud Kanakhedi Eklaspur road has been changed. Several routes have been declared as district main routes under the Ujjain region and also in Betul district under the Bhopal zone.
