Jodhpur: A teenager living near his maternal uncle at Jawahar Nagar in the Rajiv Gandhi Nagar police station area near Jodhpur in Rajasthan committed suicide by hanging himself from Chunri. This incident is on 12 June. On behalf of his elder brother Fauji, reports have been made accusing the maternal uncle's family of abetting him for suicide. Police has conducted post mortem of the body from the Medical Board. Teenager also drank Dettol before being hanged. A suicide note was found by chance. In which there is talk of dying of free will and endurance. It was also written in the suicide note to be upset with the daily fights at home. According to the report, Jitendra was studying 12th arts at his maternal uncle Uttam Singh's house in Jawahar Nagar. His maternal uncle Uttam Singh lives in Abu Dhabi and two or three small children of his maternal uncle and family also live here.

According to SI Manoj Kumar, Jitendra Singh attempted suicide by drinking Dettol at home on 12 June but when he vomited, he swung it with a noose. On finding out the family members took him off and took him to the hospital. Then the doctor declared him dead. Police was informed about this later. On this, the police have now registered a case of abetment to suicide on the report of the deceased's brother, military worker Jaswant Singh. The suicide note will be sent for FSL check.
