Earlier on Wednesday, the Gujarat Education Board had cancelled the 12th board examination.
State Education Minister Bhupinder Singh Chudasama has informed in this regard. A day earlier, the Haryana government announced the cancellation of the state board's class XII examinations. In view of the second wave of corona epidemic, the Central Government on Tuesday decided to cancel the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th standard board examination. The decision was taken after an important meeting led by PM Modi.
PM Narendra Modi had said after the meeting that the decision was taken keeping in view the interests of the students. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi said, "The health and safety of students is of paramount importance and no compromise can in this matter".
