New Delhi: For the last 15 days, 11 fake TTEs were giving duty at the railway station in the capital of the country, which no one was aware of. These fake TTEs were given duty on the platform. They were also checking passengers wearing white shirts and black pants. When the railway officer got suspicious, then it came to light and three youths were arrested. The RPF and railway employees have handed over these 11 fake ticket checkers to the Railway Police.
Railway DCP Harendra Singh has informed that three accused have been arrested in the case so far. At the same time, an investigation is going on regarding the role of others. Sources said that on Tuesday, railway official Ritesh Wadhwa was travelling from Kanpur Shatabdi. When the train reached Ghaziabad, they saw a person checking the ticket. During interrogation, he became suspicious. Later he was caught at New Delhi station. He has been identified as Bhupendra Chaurasia of Gorakhpur. After interrogating him, 10 other such youths were nabbed. Fake appointment letters were also found with some of them.
Let us inform you that due to the arrest of 11 fake TTEs simultaneously at the highly secure New Delhi railway station, the security system here is also being questioned. The arrested accused used to come to the railway station for 15 days, do duty and return. But the railway administration or security agencies did not even know about it. This is the first time in the capital that such a large number of fake TTEs have been caught from the railway station.
