Jaipur: Security has been beefed up ahead of PM Modi's visit to Rajasthan. An intensive investigation is being done on the routes. Under this quest, the police caught a pickup full of illegal explosives while taking major action in Dausa. It was filled with 10 quintals of explosives. Police recovered the pickup and arrested the driver Rajesh Meena. There has been an uproar because of the receipt of such a large quantity of explosives ahead of Prime Minister Modi's visit. The police are probing the matter from every angle.

Official sources said that the Sadar police station took this action on the information of the informer. When the police stopped and checked a pickup on the information of the informer on Khan Bhankhri Road, it was filled with a stock of illegal explosives. Police recovered the pickup and arrested the pickup driver Rajesh Meena son of Lakhmichand (57), resident of Vyas Mohalla Police Station Kotwali. It may be noted that the PM is scheduled to inaugurate the Sohna-Dausa portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on February 12. 

SP Sanjeev Nain told that special security is being maintained in the district regarding PM Modi's visit. Continuous special investigation campaigns have been conducted by the police. The information was received from the informer that a stock of explosives was being transferred. Thereafter, A team was formed under the supervision of CO Kaluram Meena and under the leadership of Station Officer Sanjay Poonia. When the team stopped and checked a suspicious pickup passing through Khan Bhakri Road, 40 boxes of explosives were found loaded in it. The police officer said that each box was filled with 9 shells. In this way, a total of 360 pellets were recovered. Not only this, police recovered 13 packets of detonators separately. A total of 65 detonators including 5 electric detonators and 13 connector wires were found in each packet. When the license and permit were asked from the pickup driver Rajesh Meena, no documents were found from him. Not only this, no expert blaster nor any Bill Boucher was found in the vehicle. The police found that the entire stockpile of explosives was being transported illegally. Police are intensively interrogating the criminal.
