Which posts are there in this recruitment?

This railway recruitment is being done under the Scouts and Guides quota in the head office of North Central Railway and various divisions. There are a total of eight posts in it, which include two posts for Group-C and six posts for Group-D. Out of the six posts of Group-D, two posts each have been set for Prayagraj, Jhansi and Agra divisions. This recruitment is a golden opportunity for candidates having special expertise in the field of scouting and guiding.

Educational Qualification & Age Limit

According to this recruitment notification of RRC, candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. There is no requirement of 50% marks for graduate and postgraduate candidates. Apart from this, for technical posts, candidates must have high school (10th) and ITI qualification, or have completed apprenticeship along with high school.

As per the age limit, the minimum age of general candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 30 or 33 years, which is fixed according to the post. Candidates of reserved category (SC, ST, OBC etc.) will be given relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2025.

Application Fees and Concessions

The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed at Rs 500. However, candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Divyang, Minority, and Economically Backward Classes (EWS) are exempted, and the application fee for them is only Rs 250. This fee can be deposited through online mode.
