Whenever there is talk of strong acting and special style in Bollywood, the name of superstar Rajkumar is definitely taken. There was a time when Rajkumar's presence in a film was considered a guarantee of the film being a hit. Millions of people were crazy about his special acting style and domineering style. But, his son Puru Rajkumar could not get the same fame and success as Rajkumar got.
Puru Rajkumar's film journey: Puru Rajkumar, who was also known in the film industry by his father's name, made his Bollywood debut in 1996 with the film Brahmachari. He was paired with Karisma Kapoor in this film, and it was directed by famous director Prakash Mehra. However, this film proved to be a flop at the box office. After this, he worked with veterans like Manisha Koirala and Raza Murad in the film Raghuvanshi, but this film never got released. Not only this, his other films like Desh and Sarhad also got shelved before release.
Continued to struggle despite flop films: However, despite many failures in his career, Puru Rajkumar did not give up. He continued working in films. He appeared in films like Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Mission Kashmir, and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Apart from this, he also played characters with different shades in films like LOC Kargil, Dushmani, and Veer. But, unfortunately, he was not successful in making his mark even in these films.
Distance from film industry: After continuous failures, Puru Rajkumar finally distanced himself from the film industry. However, if he gets a strong role, he will not shy away from making a comeback in films.
Could not get success like father: While Rajkumar was the biggest superstar of his time, Puru Rajkumar also tried to make his mark in films, but he could not even come close to his father's stature and success. Although he had the ability in acting, the right films and characters could not bring him success.
