Jaipur: Ahead of Navratri, the main festival of India, police have issued a notice to the administration of Hinglaj Mata temple in Barmer, Rajasthan, saying that they cannot organize any kind of religious activities inside the temple without permission. The letter asked the temple administration to first seek permission for organising any religious function. In this regard, former MP Tarun Vijay has given information by tweeting.

The former MP has accused the Congress of banning religious activities and said, "A black day for Hindus. The letter shared by the former MP has the signature of the SHO of Barmer Kotlali and has the date of September 23, 2022. In this letter, the reason behind such a decision has been given that there is a dispute about mutual factionalism in the Khannai society regarding the temple, which can be fierce at any time and peace can be disturbed. In such a situation, no religious work should be organized in the temple until the dispute is completely over. If any program is to be organized even after this order, then permission will have to be taken for it.
