President Draupadi Murmu is visiting Indore and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh on September 18 and 19. During her two-day tour, she will meet local artists in Indore and visit the famous Mahakal temple in Ujjain. She will also lay the foundation stone for the Indore-Ujjain Six-Lane Project and attend the convocation at Devi Ahilya University in Indore. Special arrangements have been made for her security and hospitality, including a unique menu tailored to her preferences.
Special Menu for the President
During her stay, President Murmu will be served food that strictly adheres to her dietary preferences. All meals will be prepared without onion and garlic, and only cow's milk will be used in the preparation. The menu will include a variety of pulses, but lentils, tinda (Indian squash), arbi (taro root), potato-cauliflower, spinach-paneer, and rajma (kidney beans) will be excluded. Additionally, multigrain flour will be used for making rotis and sandwiches. To ensure her vegetarian food is prepared under the highest standards, officials have been instructed to use utensils that have never been used for cooking non-vegetarian items.
