HARARE:Â Ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifier competition, hosts Zimbabwe, former World Champions West Indies, Sri Lanka, and Scotland each won both of their pre-tournament warm-up games with convincing victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Scotland, and the United States.
With victories over Ireland and Oman, respectively, the Netherlands and Nepal will also advance to the group rounds.
Rovman is won by West Indies thanks to Powell After the West Indies lost control and fell to 198-7 midway through their innings against UAE, Powell's quick century helped them restore control.
The Windies were in a strong position with to Nicholas Pooran's 74 before three wickets in nine balls caused his team to falter.
The Windies eventually scored 374 for nine runs thanks to Powell and Keemo Paul's 139-run eighth-wicket partnership, according to a report on the ICC website. Powell was eventually bowled for 105 off just 55 balls.

Barresi leads the Netherlands to victory. Harry Tector, who scored a century earlier in the week against the USA, was one of seven batsmen for Ireland to reach single figures against the Netherlands as Scott Edward's team shared the wickets. Ireland were bowled out for 193 in the 40th over. Gareth Delany, who was Shariz Ahmad's second wicket, scored a quickfire 46 off 25 balls to help Lorcan Tucker recover from 58/5 in the 20th over. Following Craig Young's dismissal to Saqib Zulfiqar three balls after Tucker was stumped by Edwards for 74 off the bowling of Clayton Floyd, Ireland's innings was prematurely ended.
Although Ireland put up a fight, Wesley Barresi's 90 helped the Netherlands win. Barresi and Max O'Dowd put up 89 for the second wicket.
Ben White, who finished with figures of five for 61, dismissed Noah Croes three balls after O'Dowd was dismissed, and Ireland reduced the Netherlands to 114 for six in the 19th over. Aryan Dutt and Logan van Beek methodically scored the last 10 runs after Barresi was bowled, bringing the Netherlands home by two wickets.
