Traffic Restrictions in Vijayawada for Chandrababu Naidu’s Swearing-In as Andhra Pradesh CM - Vijayawada Police Issue Advisory for June 12 Event

The Vijayawada Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions for June 12 in preparation for Chandrababu Naidu's swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The ceremony is scheduled for 11:27 a.m. near Medha IT Park, opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, on the outskirts of Vijayawada.

Notable Attendees

The event will be attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP chief J.P. Nadda, various Chief Ministers and Governors from neighboring states, and other union ministers.

Traffic Restrictions and Diversions

To manage the expected traffic congestion, Krishna District Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi has issued the following advisory:

• Vehicles traveling from Visakhapatnam to Chennai will be diverted via Kathipudi and Ongole.
• Vehicles traveling from Chennai to Visakhapatnam will be diverted through Ongole, Repalle, Machilipatnam, Losari Bridge, Narsapuram, Amalapuram, and Kakinada.
• Traffic from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad will be diverted through Gammon Bridge, Devarapalli, Jangareddygudem, Aswaraopeta, and Khammam.
• Vehicles from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam will be redirected via Nandigama, Madhira, Wyra, Sattupalli, Aswaraopet, Jangareddygudem, Devarapalli, and Gammon Bridge.

Additional diversions include:

Bhimadole, Dwaraka Tirumala, Kamavarapukota, Chintalapudi, Sattupalli, Khammam, Hanuman Junction, Nuzvid, Mylavaram, Ibrahimpatnam, and Nandigama.
Ibrahimpatnam, Mylavaram, Nuzvid, Hanuman Junction, and Eluru Bypass.
Ramavarappadu, Nunna, Velagaleru, G Konduru, Mylavaram, Nuzvid, Hanuman Junction, and Visakhapatnam.

PM Modi's Itinerary

Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad informed PTI that Prime Minister Modi is expected to leave Delhi for Gannavaram Airport at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, arriving at 10:40 a.m., to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
