Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is all set to chair a key cabinet meeting at Chamboli today, March 13, ahead of the budget session, an official statement said. According to the statement, the meeting will be held at 11:30 am in Vidhansabha Bhawan, Bhararisain.
"In this meeting, a decision can be taken on many key proposals including the proposal to increase the MLA fund, liquor policy, amendment in the Police Act and Block Resource Centres (BRCs) and Cluster Resource Centre (CRC) outsourced recruitment," the statement added.
On March 15, the budget will be presented in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami attended the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Party meeting on Sunday evening in Vidhansabha, Bhararisain (Gairsain).
Premchand Aggarwal, the minister for parliamentary affairs, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, and MLAs were present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister Office (CMO) states that in order to prepare the budget, consultations with all parts are being held, and proposals are being solicited from each section.
Earlier in the month, the opposition party Congress announced to lay siege to the assembly and protest against the recruitment scam, Ankita murder case as well as Adani case.
