The first shift exam of the UP Teacher Eligibility Test will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. 12,91,627 candidates are to appear for primary level in the first shift and 8,73,552 candidates for the upper primary level examination in the second shift. No electronic device including mobile phones is allowed to be carried along at the exam centre. Earlier, the UPTET examination was scheduled to be held on 28th November 2021 which was cancelled due to a paper leak incident. Thereafter, after strong opposition from the students, the administration issued a new date for the examination. The examination centres were retrenched and centres with a poor image were removed from the list.
