Bhopal: For the past eight days, the weather in Madhya Pradesh has been unpredictable. On Sunday, heavy rainfall was reported in several areas of Seoni, Burhanpur, and Damoh districts of the state. While some regions experienced rainfall, temperatures soared above 40 degrees Celsius in more than ten districts. The hottest district on Sunday was Sidhi, where the temperature crossed 42 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather update for the next week, predicting further changes.

Over the last eight days, Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a significant change in weather patterns, with rainfall and even hailstorms occurring in several districts. According to the IMD, this unpredictable weather is expected to persist for the next week. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in districts such as Dindori, Seoni, and Chhindwara, with the possibility of rain in Anuppur, Jabalpur, and Narmadapuram as well. The IMD has also warned of potential hailstorms in some areas of the state.

The IMD attributed the change in Madhya Pradesh's weather to an active western disturbance affecting the state. Additionally, a circulation system is forming, further contributing to the inclement weather expected in the coming week.
