Ujjain: Two suspected patients of life-threatening coronavirus in China have also been found in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. These two are mother and son in relationship which are the suspected patients. Son is studying in China, he has returned to India from China 14 days ago. Both patients have been immediately admitted to the hospital. A team of doctors is watching them.

His swab sample has been sent to NIV Pune for examination. The state's health department is on alert mode. It has already issued an alert for the entire state. A separate ward is being constructed in Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital. Passengers from China are being screened at the airport. The suspected patient suffering from Coronavirus living in Ujjain is studying ABBS in Wuhan city of China. He reached Ujjain on 13 January. Till then the screening at the airport regarding the coronavirus had not started. Hence the student was not checked up.

Since returning from China, he has been suffering from cold, cough and fever. As a precaution, he is immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is kept in an isolated ward. The mother of that student is also suffering from cold and cough. Therefore, he too has been admitted to the hospital. Both the mother and son are under the supervision of the team of doctors. The swab sample of both has been sent to Pune for investigation, the report is awaited.
