Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday expressed serious concerns about the safety of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, citing several alleged assassination attempts against him. Speaking in Kazakhstan, Putin called these threats "uncivilized" and warned that Trump remains at significant risk.

Despite voicing admiration for Trump, describing him as "intelligent" and "experienced," Putin raised alarms about the severity of recent threats. He said, "As far as I can imagine, the newly elected president is intelligent and quite experienced. I believe he will find a solution" to the ongoing war in Ukraine. However, Putin emphasized the danger Trump faces, highlighting "absolutely uncivilized methods" used against him, including multiple assassination attempts. “In my opinion, he is not safe now,” Putin added.

Putin referred to a number of incidents where Trump was allegedly targeted, including a July 13 attack during a Republican rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. In this attack, Trump was reportedly grazed by a bullet near his ear, which caused visible bleeding. The attack was widely captured on camera, drawing attention across media channels.

Another alleged attack took place in September, when a man was arrested near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Authorities said the suspect was found with a rifle aimed at one of Trump’s golf courses.

In the same press conference, Putin also issued strong warnings to Ukraine, suggesting that Russia might use its Oreshnik missiles against Kyiv. These intermediate-range missiles, which have previously been deployed against Dnipro, are reportedly difficult to intercept by air defense systems. "We will use the means at our disposal," Putin said, adding that Oreshnik missiles could be used against Ukrainian military targets, industrial sites, or decision-making centers in Kyiv. He justified this potential action by claiming that Ukrainian authorities continue to target critical Russian infrastructure.

Putin's remarks came shortly after the United States, United Kingdom, and France decided to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles. This move has escalated tensions in the region, with Russia warning of possible retaliation.

These statements highlight the growing complexity of global geopolitical tensions, with concerns about Trump’s safety juxtaposed with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and escalating military threats from Russia.
