NEW DELHI: The by-poll results in Tripura have emerged as a resounding endorsement of the state's developmental initiatives under the "double engine" government, as asserted by BJP President Nadda on Friday. Nadda congratulated the dedicated BJP workers in Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Saha, and State President Rajib Bhattacharjee for their decisive victories in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur by-elections, which were secured with a commanding majority. This victory, according to Nadda, is a testament to the people's approval of the transformative development endeavors carried out by their government, guided by the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a similar vein, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tripura for their role in ensuring the BJP's success in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly bye-elections. He emphasized that this triumph will bolster their resolve to lead Tripura towards prosperity under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah also extended his congratulations to Chief Minister Manik Saha and the state BJP president, Rajib Bhattacharjee, along with all the dedicated party workers, for their remarkable victory in these by-elections.
The BJP nominees emerged victorious in the Dhanpur and Boxanagar Assembly constituencies, comfortably defeating their CPI (M) rivals. With these wins, the BJP's representation in the 60-member Assembly has now increased to 33 seats. This electoral success serves as a testament to the faith that the people of Tripura have placed in the developmental efforts and governance of the "double engine" government.
