The month of August can be very special for Honda car buyers, because this month big discounts are being given on many Honda cars. According to AutocarIndia report, this month Honda Elevate is getting benefits of up to Rs 65,000. These benefits depend on the variant. In April, this SUV was updated with additional safety technology, including six airbags, 3-point ELR seat belts and seat belt reminder for all five seats. However, these benefits apply only to Elevate models manufactured before the update. Elevate, a rival of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, is priced between Rs 11.91 lakh and Rs 16.51 lakh.
Additional safety features have also been included in the Honda City. Benefits of up to Rs 88,000 are being given this month on unsold stock manufactured before the update, while benefits of up to Rs 68,000 are being given on the updated City. The City has a 121hp 1.5-liter petrol engine, which has the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT.
The Honda City Hybrid is being offered this month with a cash discount of up to Rs 78,000 and a 3-year free service package of Rs 20,000. Priced at Rs 19 lakh, the City Hybrid has no direct rivals in the market and comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and two electric motors, all mated to an e-CVT gearbox. Their combined output is 126hp.
The Honda Amaze VX and Elite variants are getting benefits of up to Rs 96,000 this month, the S variant gets benefits of up to Rs 76,000 and the entry-level E variant gets benefits of up to Rs 66,000. The car, which rivals the Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura, is available with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with manual gearbox and CVT auto options. The current model will soon be replaced by an all-new Honda Amaze, which is expected to arrive during the festive season this year.
