'Ishq Ka Rang Safed' fame actress Snehal Rai has spoken about her married life for the first time. Snehal Rai told in one of her interviews how she fell in love with a politician 21 years her senior. Snehal says, 'I got married to politician Madhavendra Rai 10 years ago. I have never hidden my marriage, but I have never talked about it.' 

She said- I am an actress and it was not necessary for me to say that now I am a politician's wife. My husband Madhavendra Kumar Rai is from Uttar Pradesh and belongs to a beautiful cultured family. I am very happy to get married. Snehal says that 'we met at an event in Delhi. After that, our numbers were exchanged. I have hosted many events for them as well. Our family is like the family of the movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. My mother-in-law is not strict. Everyone is so cute. I live in Mumbai and they are always excited to watch my show.

Snehal Rai talks about the 21-year age gap between her husband and herself, '21 is good isn't it? We never talked about the age gap. Let people say something on this, it is their job to say. I have struggled a lot in life. I have been living in the chawl with my mother and sister. So I focused only on my work. I think a person who likes you will accept you the way you are. My husband has seen my fights and has also seen my attitude of never giving up.
