In the dazzling world of Bollywood, there are some actresses who make a place in the hearts of the audience with their first film, but their stardom fades with time. One such actress is Vijayta Pandit . She started her career in the early 80s and impressed the audience with her beauty and acting, but gradually she moved away from the film world. Today, on the occasion of her birthday, let us know about her story and present life.
Vijayta Pandit was born on 25 August 1967 in Mumbai. Vijayta entered Bollywood at the age of just 14. Her first film was 'Love Story' , which was released in 1981. In this film, Vijayta worked with actor Kumar Gaurav , and the pairing of the two was highly appreciated by the audience. The film was a hit at the box office and made Vijayta a star overnight.
After the success of 'Love Story', Vijayta worked in many more films like 'Jeete Hain Shaan Se', 'Deewana Tere Naam Ka', 'Mohabbat' and 'Car Thief' . But none of these films were as successful as her first film. Vijayta gradually moved away from the film world.
Another important turning point in Vijayta Pandit's life came when she married 'Car Thief' director Sameer Malkan . But their marriage did not last long and they both got divorced.
After separating from Sameer Malkan, Vijayta married famous music composer Adesh Srivastava in 1990. They had two sons from this marriage. But Vijayta's happiness was eclipsed when Adesh died of cancer in 2015 .
In 2010 , Adesh Srivastava came to know about his illness. Vijayta spent all her savings in getting him treated. After Adesh's condition worsened, he was also treated abroad, for which Vijayta even sold her luxury car. Despite this, Adesh could not be saved.
After the death of Adesh Srivastava, Vijayta Pandit completely distanced herself from the film world. Now she spends her time with her family and takes care of the house. Despite staying away from the film world, she remains a strong pillar for her children. Vijayta Pandit's career was very bright at one time, but the difficulties of personal life pushed her towards oblivion. Despite this, she never gave up and fulfilled the responsibilities of her family very well. Even today she is known as a strong woman who did not abandon her family despite facing all the ups and downs of life.
