Actor Gurcharan Singh, who won the hearts of the audience by playing the character of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the famous TV show 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has now revealed the reason for leaving the show. He told how he was thrown out of the show without any prior notice. He says that he had the same experience as Jennifer Mistry had.

The makers kicked him out without informing him

Gurcharan Singh revealed in an interview to Siddharth Kannan that the makers of the show replaced him without informing him. He said, “Tarak Mehta is like my family. If I didn’t consider them family, I would have said a lot of things about them, which I didn’t. In 2012, they replaced me, I didn’t leave the show.”

Lack of deals and compromises

Gurcharan said that at that time, there were discussions going on between him and the makers of the show regarding deals and agreements. He was replaced without any notice. One day, when he was watching the show with his family in Delhi, he saw that a new Sodhi had been introduced in the show. He was very surprised by this, especially because he was not given any information about this change.

Audience response

Gurcharan also revealed that the audience put a lot of pressure on him after he was replaced. When he went to the gym, people would ask him why he left the show. The audience also angrily asked him to return to the show. Gurcharan said that all this was not in his hands and depended on the will of the owners.

This happened with Jennifer Mistry too

Gurcharan also mentioned that Jennifer Mistry, who plays his wife on the show, was also replaced in a similar way. The change was made without any prior notice, leaving both the audience and the actors shocked. Gurcharan Singh revealed that his experience of leaving the show was very tough and he found the situation very unbelievable. According to him, Jennifer Mistry also had a similar experience, and both the actors have been struggling with the experience.
