Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has recommended a CBI probe into the death of BJP leader and TikTok star Sonali Phogat. Sonali died after a party at a resort in Goa. Sonali Phogat's family was constantly demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. The Haryana government had also supported the family's demand.  

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the investigation of Goa Police on Sonali Phogat is going on properly. The police have also got many important clues. However, Sonali's daughter of Sonali's family demands that the case be investigated by the CBI. In such a situation, today we are recommending giving the case to the CBI. I myself am writing a letter to the Home Minister demanding that the matter be investigated by the CBI.  

Let us tell you that on August 23, Sonali Phogat lost her life in Goa's Curlies restaurant. The family is continuously demanding a CBI inquiry into the Sonali Phogat death case. The family alleges that the Goa Police is not investigating the matter properly. Sonali Phogat's nephew Vikas Singhmar had recently alleged that there is political influence on Goa Police. That's why we demand a CBI inquiry into the matter.
