Jodhpur: A unique incident is coming to the fore from Jodhpur in Rajasthan where a tree wedding was conducted. In this, invitations were sent to the people after getting cards printed. People from far and wide attended. The people involved in this marriage enjoyed like a baraati. The marriage of the peepli tree has been done with Thakur ji (Shaligram). The family of Lalaram Kularia of Ketu village organized a wedding under a Peepal tree. Relatives from Hyderabad also reached to participate in this program. A family is living in Saraswati Nagar, Jodhpur since the year 2017. Peepal and Peepali trees had grown together in a pot at Lalaram Kulariya's place. After some time when the plants grew, the family members got worried. Because it is believed that having a Peepal tree in the house is not considered good and could not be removed. Due to this, a thought came in his mind that why not get Peepli married. Someone had told that there is a law for the marriage of the Peepal tree. As the tree grew, so did the attachment of the people of the house with it. After this, the whole family started preparing for Peepli's wedding. The family members prepared for the wedding and invited more than 500 people by printing cards. It was decided that Peepli would be married like a daughter and bid farewell. 

After discussing with the family members of Lalaram, a resident of the same village, it was decided that he would get Peepli married like a daughter. That's why the horoscope was mixed with the Pandit. This marriage was arranged with Thakur ji in a temple built 3 kilometers away from the village. The pundit says that after matching the horoscope, the day of Buddha Purnima was fixed for the marriage. In this marriage, Lalaram and his wife performed the rituals of Kanyadaan. Cards were also printed for the wedding of Peepli tree. Relatives were invited. Women sang auspicious songs and rituals were performed by applying turmeric on the Peepali tree. A wedding pavilion was prepared near the house, where Thakur ji's rounds were made. Arrangements were made for lapsi, dal sabji and puri for the people coming to the wedding due to the reception of the procession. Pudding, mill for Saturday morning, Arrangements were made for puri and gatte sabzi. For the wedding processions on Friday evening, a feast was arranged for the people of the entire village on Saturday morning. The people of the Kulariya family said that trees and plants have been given special importance in our religion.
