Season 16 of Amitabh Bachchan's famous game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is going to return to the audience soon. This time there will be many new and exciting changes in the show. 'KBC 16' will premiere on August 12. The tagline of this season is: "Zindagi hai, har mod pe sawal poochhegi, jawaab to dena hoga." This reality show on Sony TV has been entertaining the audience for years and has a huge fan following. Recently a new promo of the show has also come out.
In the latest promo, Amitabh Bachchan talked about the new twist in the show. This time the amount won by the contestant will be doubled. The name of this new twist is 'Dogunastra'. In this, the contestant will get a chance to double his winning amount. He will get this chance through 'Super Sawaal', in which there will be no option.
The super question is a bonus question that will come after every fifth question. In this question, the contestant will not get any option, and neither will they be able to use a lifeline. If the contestant gives the correct answer, then they will get the opportunity to use 'Dogunastra'. Through this, they can win double the amount by pressing the buzzer. The contestant will get a chance to double the amount on any question of their choice, from question number 6 to question number 10.
Suppose the contestant uses the 'Super Power' on the 9th question, which is worth Rs 1,60,000, and gives the correct answer, then their amount will be doubled. Even while using this power, the contestant cannot use the lifeline. This new twist will make the game even more exciting and increase the chances of contestants winning big prizes.
The 16th season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' will premiere on Sony TV on August 12 at 9 pm. Recently, while sharing pictures from the shoot of the show, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Back with KBC 16th Season." In another post, he added, "Yes, I am back, and still no change in the routine - the race is on."
