Former Tripura health minister Sudip Roy Barman has resigned as an MLA in a significant political move. Sudip Roy Barman has resigned from the Tripura Assembly, according to Speaker Ratan Chakraborty. "I am standing down as an MLA in the sake of the people of the state," Sudip Roy Barman said. Sudip Roy Barman's close associate Asish Saha has also resigned as an MLA.
Both leaders have resigned from the BJP's main membership as well. On Monday, Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Saha, and other BJP MLAs will come in New Delhi to join a new national party.Â
"I'm no longer associated with the BJP." After offering his resignation to the Speaker, Sudip Roy Barman stated, "It has failed terribly to work for the ordinary people." On Monday, Sudip Roy Barman and his close buddy Asish Kumar Saha would fly from Guwahati to New Delhi. Notably, the breakaway BJP MLAs have recently begun to publicly criticise the BJP government's governance in Tripura. Barman and his close colleagues will be in Washington, D.C., to plan their political future.Â
They will very certainly join a national party, like as the Congress or the Trinamool Congress (TMC). Sudip Roy Barman met with senior Congress leaders in private a few days ago. According to sources, a number of spurned BJP MLAs, including Barman and Saha, are likely to follow in their footsteps.
According to reports, the rebel would meet with key Congress officials in New Delhi on February 10 and then join the party. On February 12, the MLAs will return to Tripura.Â
