Jaipur: The solution to the political crisis in Rajasthan is now expected to come out of Karnataka instead of Delhi. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has reached Karnataka to join Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, where she is likely to meet Rahul. It is being told that Sonia and Rahul can talk about the election of Congress President and the recent political developments in Rajasthan as well as the change of leadership.
Along with this, Congress National General Secretary KC Venugopal is also in Karnataka. Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to stay in Mysore, Karnataka for 4 days. It is noteworthy that recently Venugopal had said that the decision regarding Rajasthan can be taken in the coming 2 to 3 days, in such a situation, there is speculation that a decision on the post of CM in Rajasthan can be taken soon. In Rajasthan, the Congress high command has to decide whether to retain Ashok Gehlot or hand over the chair to Sachin Pilot. At the same time, Gehlot had also said after meeting Sonia Gandhi that the decision of the post of CM will be taken by the top leadership i.e. the Gandhi family.
On September 25, MLAs of the Gehlot faction had boycotted the meeting of observers and legislature party sent by the high command in Rajasthan, after which the Gandhi family had expressed strong displeasure towards Gehlot. Although Gehlot has apologized to Sonia Gandhi for the entire incident, political pundits say that the issue of Rajasthan is a question of the credibility of the party's high command, in such a situation, no concrete action can send a wrong message to the workers.
